Bio
One's-Self I sing by Walt Whitman

One's-Self I sing, a simple separate person,
Yet utter the word Democratic, the word En-Masse.

Of physiology from top to toe I sing,
Not physiognomy alone nor brain alone is worthy for the Muse, I say the Form complete is worthier far,
The Female equally with the Male I sing.

Of Life immense in passion, pulse, and power,
Cheerful, for freest action form'd under the laws divine,
The Modern Man I sing.
-Walt Whitman

As for my own self,

I have to have a reason for my actions.

I insist that as long as it communicates, it's a word.

My brand of feminism consists of believing that men and women are equal and more similar than different, yet feeling sexier and more confident whenever I wear my power boots.

I try to ask myself “What’s the worst that could happen?” and “So?”

I am ambitious and impatient. I see a world full of possibilities, and want to grow up fast and take advantage of all of them.

I am sentimental. If it’s important to me, I write it down or take a picture or talk about it.

I am a person who relies on the beauty and draws from the strength of shared experiences.

I am a watcher and an observer. I try to be a listener and an absorber.

I am young, and naïve. I hope to learn from the trials of others and not make the same mistakes myself.

And I don’t apologize for any of it.
